We are 114km south east of Auckland (about 80 minute drive from Auckland Airport). Making Brookby the perfect place to stay at the beginning of your New Zealand holiday or to wind down at the end of it.
Thames is steeped in early settler and gold mining history. Predominantly that of a gold-mining town from the 1860s to 1920s, many relics of that time are still visible today. The owners' home at Brookby was built in 1890.
